Singaporean Hangover...

Hey hey buddies & babes!!!

Oh well, after 1 million rejections for my swaps this month, I finally managed to swap my 50th London and a Manchester flight for a 48 hrs layover in Singapore, followed by a 24 hrs recovery layover in Colombo! It was perfect timing cos Franck had a 72 hrs layover in Singapore at the same time too! So we planned to have a memorable 48 hrs together in Singas!
The first night we took it easy, since I had barely had any sleep before my flight, we only went for a quick walk down the Esplanade, followed by dinner in a cute Thai restaurant by the river. Took a few pics on the way...







The next day we would have the full day there, so we planned to spend the day at Santosa Island. It was nice, but way too artificial for both our tastes, so we didnt spend more than 3 or 4 hours there. Nice pictures though...

After taking a few pics, we headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner, and at this stage we were only "considering" going out...Oh well, it turned out that we did go out! Thank God! Cos we discovered the Best Bar EVER! And the Best NIGHTCLUB on the planet! Both in the same night!!! Asia Bar is located on teh 71st floor of Swissotel, mins walking from our Hotel. From there you have amazing views from the whole Singapore! At a lavish price of $21 Singaporean Dollars a drink!!!! We obviously did not stay there long, but it was soooooo worth it! Afterwards we decided to check out the new Ministry of Sound Nightclub, which was also only a few mins from the Hotel, by cab. WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!! What an amazing place!!! Between individual plasma screens above urinals, to escalators between dancefloors, that place just blew us away! Never thought I would see a waterfall in the middle of a dancefloor! Not to mention the fantastic tunes and the happy hour 2 x 1 drinks at 2am!!!! Dont need to mention here how pissed we got, do I? The rest of the layover I just cant recall! Hehehe...Just remember waking up 2pm, with the worst hangover EVER, mins before my wake up call for my return flight to Colombo, via Jakarta! God I was sick! Nway..survived that one too, thanks to light loads and nice crewmembers helping me out! Hehehe...

Right now Im recoverung in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Spent the day by the pool sipping on Orange Juice and ice. Hehehe...Off back to Dubai tonight...Thats it for now folks...Enjoy the pics... Xoxo
